My best response is that yes it can change as you get older and yes it will get worst if you have a major accident like fall on a icey walk area or get tossed off a horse. My chiropractor has been adjusting my back for about a year now and I 've had scoliosis a lot longer it just never bothered me until I fell directly on the bad part of my back.
