I had some spotting that lasted about a week when I was pregnant with my 5 year old. I have been told that some spotting in the beginning is normal. Four and a half months ago, I found out I was pregnant after I was spotting for 2 weeks. ( I did not know I was pregnant because the spotting came around the time I was supposed to have my period). The spotting continued for another week and I passed a blood clot. After that everything was normal until my water broke two weeks ago and I lost my baby.
