had a ruptured disk c-6-7 had severe pain in my right arm and hardly any mobility,also numbness in right hand ,except fingers feeling like ballons ready to explode.Had surgery on 3/31/01 anterior cervical disc disectomy with fusion ,they took the bone out of my hip, surgery went well pain was immediatly gone ,except pain in neck and severe headaches now which comes and go's.i have been excercising at home using weight's putting behind my head ,and stretching trying to build muscle back up, but don't understand i'am not getting my strenghth back ,it is still the same, having problems getting out of chair ,is this typical or what, can anyone answer for me, need info if anyone can give advice.
