Feel free to e-mail me. I had the surgery at the c5-c6 level in 8-99. I have been told " I am the exception" but continue to have severe pain. Was in a pain clinic, and after 4 weeks, we did another MRI, and it showed 3 new disc bulges, 2 above, and 1 below. I am now told it is degenerative disk disease, and will get worse. Their next, and as they tell me only, treatment is installing a cervical cath. pump with morhine, demerol. I would surely be asking alot of questions
