I have been diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica. I am 50. I have a high sed rate and a low hemoglobin along with other symptoms. Predisone is the only medicine that helps me. I have had it one year. I had a temporal artery biopsy to rule out giant cell arthritis. My joints ,especially my shoulders and neck ache. I am much worse in the morning.
