can't believe that you are going through the same things that i am now. I just turned 62 and must have had pmr for at least 5 yrs.Lost vision 2 times in my right eye was up to 80mg prednisone.(my vision came back, but my eyes are very blurry don't know if its still the effects of the prednsone) My drs are wonderfull. Did the send you to a neuro-opthalmologist? He recommened a transesophageal echocardiogram a probe that goes through the chambers to see if there are any clots near my heart,like you al of sudden i had a DVT. Down now to 25mg pred. But all Drs. agree i must get off my body can't take some much after all these yrs.My Rhumy. also has me on Imuran and celebrex. You or anyone can with these problems can please post or e-mail me so i know i am not alone in this. You are the first one that said they had clots so i now know this could come along with nasty illness.
