I to have suffered from this illness for 5 years...have been on and off presidisone several times....but nothing works as good as it does..I hate the side effects that everyone talks about but at least I have some times that I am able to be somewhat active...I am 58 years old...was very active until this came along. I hope I have been of some help to you...sometimes I think being able to talk to someone who has the same illness could be very helpful.
