Hi Betty, How are you? I hope you have been feeling better by now. I know how frustrating it can be to taper the Prednisone, and then have to go back up on it, because of a bad flare. I have been stuck on it for over 5 and 1/2 years. At this time, I really doubt that I'll ever get off of it. Has your doctor talked to you about trying Methotrexate or Enbrel to help you taper the Prednisone? I am on both along with 10mg of Prednisone. If I weren't on these other medicines, I know my dose of Prednisone would have to be much higher. Let me know how you are doing. Best wishes, Betty. Shar
