Hi Betty, I'm so sorry to hear what you have gone through. No one deserves so much pain. Are you on Prednisone for your PMR? How long have you had PMR? As you saw on my posts, I came down with PMR over 5 and 1/2 years ago, but then RA hit me about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, RA is much worse, and it usually does not go away. It takes a lot of heavy duty medicines to control it. I was a healthy and active woman until PMR and RA hit me, and I took good care of myself. From what I have read, the cause is still unknown, but medical experts are leaning toward a genetic predisposition with an environmental trigger. I hope you are doing okay. Let me know. Best wishes!
