I had hives for six months was on allegra 1/day clarinex 1/day zyrtex 1 and sometimes 2 a day zantac 150mg 2 /day plus predisone when they were really bad this kept the hives down to just a few every day, I stopped each pill one at a time to make sure they did not come back They are all gone now, taking no medicine The one thing you should try first is 1 antihistamine and the zantac( or generic ranitidine 150 mg twice a day) this made the biggest difference
