I'm sorry to hear about your problems! I had my tonsils out when i was 30 too! My Dr. prescribed a " numbing lollipop" that really helped me. but after a week.. my throat was almost healed! It's stories like yours that made me hold off on the tonsilectomy for ten years!! Did your Dr. give you the liqued cough codine meds? That really helped me. I'm sure after nine days that youve seen the dr. for a check up? Let me know how your doing!!!
