I have a similar problem with a rash at the end of a scar where a vein in my right leg was removed for a heart by-pass. This has been going on since 1989 and will get better when I apply ointment doctor gave me, and then wake me up in the middle of the night itching me like crazy. The doctor said I must have been alergic to sutures used. If you hear anything that could be of help to me, please notify me. Thanks.
