I am 23 years old and had my first abnormal pap test 3 weeks ago. I had a colposcopy/biopsy 5 days ago. The doctor indicated that I have signs of moderate diplasia/ lsil- low grade lesion. We are waiting on the results of my biopsy to determine if I have severe displasia. He has recommended cryosurgery. My fiance and I are concerned about the effects of having children in the future. Will this treatment effect my ability. Also, is it possible to carry a child while having cervical displasia? God forbid it turns into cancer and I loose the ability to carry a child all together. I am not too familiar on this topic. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
