I too had an abnormal pap smear about 12 years ago. At that time, I had a colposcopy and biopsy also showing moderate dysplasia and followed up with cryosurgery. I have had normal pap smears ever since. I also had 2 children since that time with absolutely no problems. I was told that without the cryosugery, I would almost definitely be looking at cervical cancer somewhere down the line. A weakened cervix was never even a concern when I did become pregnant. Since I don't know if I was just lucky, I think it would be best to discuss your concerns with your doctor. Good luck to you!
