I was diagnosed 5 months ago w/ fibromyalgia amd I persisted with other doctors. I too had pain in thigh area. I could hardly walk. I am only 46 and felt the worse pain ever. I felt so old and tired. Anyway, with the help of a doc I found thru fibromyalgia website, I found out I did not have it. He did many tests and sent me to a great neurologist. I have something called Cramp Fasciculation Syndrome. Intolerance to excercise and over-working of the muscles. I am on an anti-convulsant med and I hope to feel better soon. My whole episode has been for 9 months now. Keep looking for answers!!!
