Hi.. in response to your post operative digestion problems following your gallbladder surgery I can tell you from my own experience that you need to eat smaller meals and stay away from fats (this includes milk products) until enough time sufficient for the common bile duct to grow and assume function of your removed gallbladder by secreting enough bile to aid in digestion of these foods. This may take several months or up to a year. Good luck to you.
