I had a colonoscopy done yesterday I am 33 years old and they removed 5 polyps, I had originally been diagnosed with Diverticulitis but the other surgeon says I do not have it at all and have been treating it for years making my illitis worse...which is truly what I have...This time instead of having a general surgeon do my scope I had a gastroentonologist/Bariatric surgeon.....Now I have to wait on the pathology of the polyps...what are the cahnces of them being cancerous? Colon cancer runs in may family and has killed a few people...
