I was unable to take Elmiron because of it's effect it had on my eyes, it felt like someone was squeezing them out of my head! However, I did try for several months and to my doctors frustration stopped taking it. He told me I was the only woman in the world who couldn't take it. This bothered me until I called Jill Osborn with the ICA, Interstitial Cystytis Asc. and she told me she couldn't take it either. There are lot's of woman who are not helped by Elmiron, don't feel alone!
