DO you have Chronic Interstitial Cystitis?Have you been to see a Urologist?If not you need to see one.Bladder infections(cystitis)&CIC are different.One UTI--infection,tx-ABT. the other--CIC,is chronic inflammation of the bladder lining--not usually treated with ABT.I have suffered from UTIS&CIC 30yrs,I am 32.But it took 18yrs of suffering and being misdiagnosed before I was officialy diagnosed with CIC.I finally saw a female urologist,she had me diagnosed in 15mins.Then had several simple surgical procedures to verify and document the condition.My bladder is also much smaller than the average.If you need any help finding info or treatment let me know.I would be glad to help.I know what it's like to suffer and be told you are a hypochondriac,you have anxiety problems ,etc...I am also a nurse and have all sorts of resources available to me.By the way my 3yr old daughter is exhibiting the the same symtoms I had since I was 2yrs old and she is going to see a pediatric urologist next month.Her doctor seems to think she is following in my footsteps.Good Luck----Amy PS.Try Motrin 800mg twice a day for about a week, sometimes that helps to relieve some of the discomfort but you have to take it like I said.You can also take Tylenol 1000mg every 6 hours along with the Motrin.
