Hope
After "years" and I mean years of "lots" and I mean at least 15 breaks and sprained ankles...dislocated shoulder and "extreme" hip pain...and being told it was job related...I'm a fitness trainer of 26 years...I was ... after "I" went on the hunt and found EDS...diagnosed with EDS....I know how it feels to be told everything from "nerves to what the heck else" is wrong with ya and none of it being right.... I'm 49...still coping with the lack of mobility that gets worse every week...but life is easier knowing... My life and my life's little downs are explained so well now... My pain clinic Dr. was the one who finally noticed..."is this normal?" she asked...after looking at my feet fall to sides of my body... I thank her everytime I'm around her...for taking notice to what had been asked of me many times by many a Dr. and when I would reply, "yes...for me"... they ignored it.... (hey...I thought it waw ok, too...I teach yoga/pilates...just thought I was Gumby by nature) I just found this web site...and find it a comfort...and hope I can be of help in any way as far as knowledge and "keeping us moving" is concerned... :) Please do not hesitate to write me with questions or thoughts...
