Hello Tina,my name is Anita my daughter Emma had MC first and it spread to my oldest son Mark within a few months,yet my youngest son Ben never got them.Mark had them the worst,we would find new crops of them every few weeks,some would bleed and hurt him,but after at least a year they started to disappear apart from one on his face,so my husband stuck a small needle in the middle and squeezed it out and has none at all.They are contagious but as long as you use different towels etc she may get away with not catching them.Ihope this has been of some help.anita*
