I am suffering pain in the neck, and hand along with strange sensations of itching or crawling. They keep diagnosing bursitis and tendinitis (6 weeks now) all those treatments don't help much. Now I have numbness in the hand. I was wondering if I could have lupus (have other health problems). What are other symptoms? As for the antidepressant for pain- Yes! They gave me amitriptyline. I looked it up and it is prescribed for chronic pain. lots of possible side effects though. It caused me to have random numbness on the left side of my body.Very disturbing so I quit taking it.
