I had the same thing. The only treatment that help me was a personal tens unit (electric stimulation). Heat, ice, sono, etc. did not work. They even tried injections. The injections just made it worse. Because, it took awhile for the insurance company to ok the unit. I was in pain for over a year. But, as soon as the tensing started it took a few weeks and I was cured. Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.
