Hi Nancy and Natalie, My niece was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when she was only a few months old. She was in and out of the hospital (Children's in Cincinnati) often and we all feared the future. After a double lung transplant performed in North Carolina, she graduated college, got married, and is in the process of building a house. I'm glad to hear that you didn't take no for an answer and insisted she see another doctor. My sister-in-law learned that you sometimes have to tell the doctors how it is and not let them dismiss what you feel is important. I wish you all the best and don't give up!!
