When you were diagnosed - how long did it take doctors to make sure what you had was aa? What were your counts upon getting sick the very first time? The reason I ask is that I have a 13 week old son whose drs havn't yet said whether or not his condition is aa or not. It's been 8 weeks that he's been receiving transfusions now - and still no definitive diagnosis. I'm wondering if they are taking too long and possibly lessening his chance for treatment that may be affective. Allie3299@aol.com
