I also have heart palpitations. Have you been to your OB-GYN to see if you are perimenopausal or starting menopause? My grandmother had palpitations when she was going through it, and my mother also has it. I am 44 and have been perimenopausal for about the last seven years. The palpitations have gotten worse as my periods have drastically changed. Usually mine are the worst up to a week before my period and the first couple days of my period, but I have them throughout the month. If you have been experiencing changes in your cycle, talk to your OB-GYN and see if there is a connection. If your doctor thinks you're too young or you don't feel he's listening to you, get a second opinion. It IS a very scary feeling and you will feel better once you know for sure. Good luck!
