Hives are terrible! I had them after a hysterectomy last yr. They got so big that my upper lip looked like someone hit me ! I had them for 8 weeks at least. I took zyrtec and it did help, but every morning I'd wake with hives. So it did take awhile. I think in my case it was hormonal & maybe nerves! As my youngest daughter moved from Wisconsin to Seattle! So it was probably a combo. Did your dr. tell you that at some point they do go away? At least that's what mine told me. I know what your going through & I hope this resolves quickly!
