Hi, I'm 24 yrs old and I have suffered from migranes my entire life. Let me start off by saying that unless medication is taken at the START of the migrane, nothing will get rid of it, short of someone knocking you unconscious. :) I've had migranes last as long as a few days and it's very dibiletating. I used to take Ametriptaline (I think I spelled it wrong) but it made me constantly exhausted. I would recommend Fiorinal. It doesn't have any side effects (not for me at least) and when taken at the first sign of a migrane, the pain dissapears within 10-20 minutes. Hope this helps. :)
