I found out I had scolisis when I was sixteen. I am 62 years old now, and I had surgery to correct the curve which was 17 degress when it was discover but had grown to 92 degress just before surgery. I waited for all those years to have surgery because I was waiting until new medical knowledge would make the surgery really successful. The medical technology today is wonderful.
