Scoliosis

Message 3 of 11 Previous Next

Is your Scoliosis caused by one leg being longer than the other? Or is it do to the formation of your spine? If it is due to different leg lengths, there are leg stretching exercises that you can to supposedly over a long period of time help to lengthen your legs (if you are young and still growing). I've had scoliosis since I was a teen. In my case it is due to one leg being longer than the other. I had started to do the stretches but was not disciplined about it. My scoliosis has not severely impacted my life that much. Sometimes I have some back pain, but I am pretty active and work out so that helps quite a bit. At your age, my recommendation is to pursue the exercises to improve things. Good luck! Rick
