I too have had these for several years but just recently heard the term Opthalmic Migraine. I had a CAT scan and it revealed nothing. I recently went for an eye exam since I hadn't had one in years and the doctor was very familiar with them. He said some people get headaches with them and some do not. Some get the jagged light visual disturbance also. There is nothing you can do for these and he said he's not aware of anything that can be done to prevent them. I get the jagged light and spot and cannot see usually in the center of my vision or to the left.
