Hi, My son is 10 years old and having surgery on Friday Dec.8 for a hydrocele. I understand that if not treated it could lead to a inquinal hernia.I wonder if it could just be drained. The dr. said he needs to close the hole in the abdomin. I wonder how he knows the hole is still open. Maybe it already closed up by itself. Has anyone had this operation?
