Hey Penny, Thanks for writing. YOUR situation almost sounds like mine. MY clot was from ankle to groin...plus small clot in other leg and one directly below the heart area....barely any cirulation in right leg at all when this happened...doc told me major veins were shut down and lucky my leg didnt have to be amputated....but your situation sounds quite similar......thanks for letting me know about flying.....this might be the year I fly...possibly the end of July 2002....still debating...I am still on Coumidin but cant do things I use to do a few years back.....such as stooping or kneeling all the way down..but getting better.
