Denise, It's been a year since you asked if anyone had flown, but in answer to your question - Yes. I took a flight from Baltimore to Dallas-Fortworth, then to Portland Oregon. I was not allowed to fly while I had the clot (which went from ankle to groin), but once it dissolved, the doc said GO. I still suffer from phlebitis, and my leg was very swollen and painful for a couple days but I made it. As long as I elevate periodically I can do almost anything I want (I still can't kneel). The leg hurts and is swollen all the time, but I'm alive and can live my life. Would love to hear from you - all who have written here - to see how you're doing. Feel free to email me.
