To completely rid your child of lice you not only have to treat him/her with the pediculcide (shampoo) but you also have to wash all the bedding, pillows that the child comes in contact with. Then you should spray the house throughly with a lice killer. And if she has stuffed animals that cannot be washed, place them in a plastic trash bag and seal it, and don't let the child play with them for at least 2-3 weeks. Cover her mattress with a plastic sheet and her pillow too. To kinda help avoid reifestation, use mousse in her hair, lice don't like one of the ingredients in mousse. It sounds silly but it WORKS!!!, Hope this helps.
