our 21 yr old son just had his out this week. they told us he was in for a rough two weeks post surgery.......and boy its been rough. he was VERY sick before having the operation (adenoids too( having been suffering for the past two years and finally ending up that no antibiotics would work on him and he was put on IV therapy (going into the hosp twice a day for antibiotics intervenously and also was on morphine and steriods so very severe.........don't let yours get this bad .........its tough when your older but this has been hell for him cause they got so bad. good luck
