I too had my tonsils out...I am 54 years old, and would rather give birth 10 times before going through that again.LOL..I know exactly what you are going through....It does get better, I lived on ice cream (vanilla) Choc. seemed to be hard to swallow. I had to sleep on my side because of the saliva thing. I felt alot better after 10 day's..I lost about 15 pounds (A GOOD THING)..Good luck to you.......Feel free to E-Mail me....
