Well, it's been just over 3 months since my surgery. I can't sing like I used to but I haven't had any migraines nor have I been sick since (Knock on wood).My Dr. said it would take time to get my singing voice back. I did some additional damage to my throat when my mother passed away 1 week after the surgery.I was 14 days before I could eat solid food and 6 weeks before I could yawn without it hurting. Even with the pain if it's necessary and you suffer from headaches, you might be surprised.I found that it was better if I took large drinks of water. It streches the muscles in the throat and helps the pain. Good luck everyone:)
