Hi, I am 27 years old and just had my tonsils taken out on Monday 7-7-03. I am in a lot of pain still today. Last night I was not able to sleep. I have some symptoms that are starting to worry me. The right side of my face is feeling sort of numb. Also, my teeth on the right side bottom feel like someone did some very serious dental work. My tongue is very swollen and hurts. I have been trying to drink lots of water but it is hard. I have had nothing to eat yet. I am taking hydrocodone but last night it was not working. I keep spitting up this yellow stuff with bloody streaks in it. Is this normal? My body temp. since I got home has been below normal. Also, I know they told me a wierd odor will come because of the surgery but to report any foul odor how do I know when it changes from wierd to foul? If anyone has any suggestions for me please let me know. Thank you!
