I never heard of this syndrome. However, I have chronic lymes decease and I was a systems analysts. Before I was diagnosed while lymes which took two years of many doctor visits and even some negative blood tests (it is like lupus and can come back negative even when you have it). First I had pain and tingling in my right leg then it went to the arms and then to the left side of body. Then my mind started going. I used to rewrite technical manuals and then I could not even write a business letter. My boss said I was actually staring into space at my computer console and did not know I was doing it. I was put out on disability. I would keep searching for a doctor who knows abut restless leg syndrome but I would also get tested for lymes decease. Esp. since your mind seems to be effected like mine was. If it is lymes and hasn't gone too far, IV antibiotics should help you feel better in a few weeks. I still have good days and bad days but my memory and ability to think has improved. God bless.
