Hi, I just read your message and can identify with you totally. My mother had RLS and, I had the "growing pains" as a child - when there is no such thing. They are realizing that it is RLS. My advice to you is to find a good neurologist in your area. I know an excellent one in South Florida where I live who could possibly recommend someone to you in your area. But, above all I stress joining the RLS society. It costs $25 a year (and the money is greatly needed for research). Along with the $25 you get the newlsletter and any valuable information coming along in the scientific field. The bulletin will help you realize that there are over 12 million people that they know of suffering from RLS and many more millions - who like yourself - don't talk about it or tell there doctor for fear of "feeling silly". I also belong to a very active support group in my area - - and if you join the RLS organization, they always list the support groups in your area. I am on something that helps greatly and, I have learned certain things that help me. But, I know exactly what you mean when you explain that tired feeling. Feel free to write to me again if I can be of some help. When I joined the RLS organization the bulletin was about 4 pages. Now it is world-wide and over 12 pages, with scientists all over the world being involved. Good Luck, Helene
