Do you go to work when Restless Legs attack

Pat Gryder

Message 18 of 19 Previous Next

Hi! I have this condition. Day and night. One foot and leg has to be moving all the time. It gets on my families nerves but I can't help it. I have worked for years thinking this was just a nerve problem. I am like you, tired all the time, went to sleep on the job, anxiety, etc. I have recently had a sleep apnea test that proved I have RLS. I knew I had this of the daytime but I never knew about the night RLS. You need to have this test done. They have treatment now for this. It is very hard to work when you don't know why you are so tired and can't seem to concentrate. I am on short term disability until Jan. from work. I also have experienced left side facial numbness but no matter what test I take, nothing shows up. I am going to a neurologist and hopefully can help me with these problems. Stress, I am told also adds to these symptoms we are having to make it worse. You are not alone. I didn't know how dangerous RLS can be on your body until recently. Good luck and write me if you like. I could use a friend that understands what I am going thru!
