I thought my daughter was going through the same thing. We had to take her to the Endocrine Clinic to have a Bone Age Scan done. The Endocrine Doctor told us that "early normal" for a girl to start puberty is about 8, with periods starting at 10. After the Bone Age Scan and two Clinic visits about 6 months apart, it was determined that my daughter has not started puberty (she will be 7 this week). Good luck!
