My son is currently in the hospital w/ what is being listed as rheumatic fever. He is on the mend now, but it's been a long 2 weeks. I'd like to know what you have gone through and what I should be looking out for. My son is 8 and has never been sick like this before. There seems to be some ideas about taking pennicillin on a regular basis after having this fever. I could use some answers. Thanks
