Has your father tried Acupunture? My mom is 72 and had about 12 treatments and it has helped her very much. She is on two different kinds of medication. She has had this for about 5 years also. She still gets up during the nite many times but some nites are better than others. She does have occasional bladder spasm. She can't do much traveling or be away from a bathroom for any lenght of time.
