Had surgery in 10 years ago myself. But I was told to NOT use the hand for three weeks and know of a case where a lady was out of work for 3 months after surgury only for her doctor to find out that she was exercising the hand. I think that may be part of the problem since my surgury has helped. I can still get a little numbness if I grip things for too long. Otherwise - a success. Also they have improved the surgury = find another doctor.
