The only cure for CTS is to stop doing what caused it in the first place, ie the repetitive motion. Otherwise, even after another surgery, it will come back. Actually, 10 years is pretty good, longer than most. There is no cure. I would recommend that you forego surgery and stop what is causing the CTS, and take about 800mg of Ibuprofin 3x/day until the inflammation ceases.
