Piano Teacher
I have suffered from sciatica for 20 yrs. now. I used to be able to get relief with aspirin, but that doesn't work anymore. Tylenol & Ibuprofen are utterly useless. My dr. prescribed Nepralen, which did absolutely nothing; then Hydrocodone, which got rid of the pain completely but made me so sleepy that I was out cold for the entire night & could barely get out of bed the next AM. My pharmacist told me that Hydrocodone is a highly addictive narcotic. I don't feel comfortable taking it. First of all, I don't like being doped up. Secondly, I have 3 small children to take care of, so I have to keep going. Can't go to bed 'til the pain goes away. Anybody out there know of a medication that will work for me??
