To the kind nurse who answered my query: Thank you, for answering my questions. I have bought allergy coverings for my entire bed and pillows, and try to dust once weekly. I haven't tried the Guaifenesin yet, but will. I haven't had as much success with MD's; I have been to about 5 appts since my 1st post and have yet to have someone sit down and actually discuss w/me what's wrong. My PCP, whom I saw for the 1st time today, has been the only one to actually listen to what I said. I've been to an new ENT and an allergist. Both times I was rushed in, briefed with nonchalant suggestions to "try Sudafed" (I've tried this and IT DOESN'T HELP THE MORNING MUCUS PROBLEM), and rushed back out for a followup, which they schedule back-to-back as if I don't have a job. I've had a CT scan a couple weeks ago, and my new PCP was kind enough to get the results for me today. All the sinuses except the right maxillary were normal. The right maxillary showed slight thickening of the walls,(or something) and may not be draining correctly. She said it may not be that serious, or someone would've notified me by now, and urged me to f/up with the ENT, who ordered the scan. I guess I have to followup with the ENT, to see what he has to say. I am strongly tempted to change ENT/allergists altogether. My last allergy test last summer, showed severe multiple allergies, as I told you before. They hounded me to PLEASE get allergy shots. Now, the allergist I just saw said that they "may or may not help". That was basically my whole appt, in that 1 sentence. Sorry so long, but what do you think of all this? It's been suggested that this may be a nightly drainage problem, but again, nobody has suggested anything. Again, thanks so much for your great advice.
