This girl with asthma and problems entering Malls,churches,and especially doctors offices COULD be allergic to latex or natural rubber latex. She has probably been in and out of medical facilities most of her life due to her asthma.There is a such thing as allergic reactions to powdered latex gloves. It is not known about much at this point but this is real and I have much info. on this if this 16 yr. old girl needs it. I am latex allergic and I too am unable to visit the places she spoke of without special precautions. Latex products are everywhere in the mall and mostly in our medical facilities. Carpet is a problem too because of the rubber backing on it. Please let me know about this girl. She needs to see an allergist and be tested for latex as a skin test and also for IGE antibodies with a RAST test for latex. I care.
